An Economy Lost while Distracted by Consumption

Global Economy – March 8, 2009

How we get these Future News Predictions

Find out how these predictions will affect you

The U.S. is no longer the global leader in the world’s economy. In the past the U.S. was a nation that exported many goods and had a strong and diverse manufacturing base. Now the U.S. is no longer competitive on a global basis. First, the U.S. exported manufacturing jobs to other countries with lower wages. Next, it outsourced many jobs overseas in the service sector. Now, it is difficult for the U.S. to catch up or rebuild its industrial and service base. The U.S. is no longer competitive with the rest of the world. Japan has better technology and China has the edge on lower wages. During the last depression the U.S. was able to work its way out of the economic turmoil because it had a diverse industrialized base and a skilled work force. That is no longer the case. Now Japan’s technology has taken over the world. The most current example is the auto industry. As the technology moves to other countries the death blow to the U.S. auto industry will be cars from China. Continue reading »

Politicians will have three major items to concern

Politics – March 5, 2009

How we get these Future News Predictions

Find out how these predictions will affect you

Politicians will have three major items to concern themselves with on their agendas moving forward.  First is the economy, second is the housing market, and third is domestic and foreign policies. First, the economy.  All politicians need to listen to their constituents closely and not be dissuaded by political posturing and lobbyists. The constituents need jobs and the only way they will get them is to have money funneled to the states and small and medium-sized businesses in order to create jobs. Small and medium businesses need to have immediate access to credit so they can buy inventory, increase the sizes of their businesses either physically, by hiring more people, or both. Once they have capital to expand, you will see the unemployment numbers start to drop each month. Once Americans see unemployment dropping they will be more apt to invest in businesses through the stock market. Once people get back to work and have a steady income they will start to buy cars again. Once they have a new job that is steady for at least a year they will think about buying a home again. So this one item –  ”jobs” – is the key to all politicians’ agendas in order to get the economy rolling again.Continue reading »

Civil collapse if terrorism cannot be contained

Terrorism – March 4, 2009

How we get these Future News Predictions

Find out how these predictions will affect you

There are two countries in the world that will suffer civil collapse if terrorism cannot be contained. These two countries are Pakistan and Mexico. First, in Pakistan you have many different terrorist factions, as well as the Taliban and Al-Qaida. The U.S. will discover that the war in Afghanistan is unwinnable and that the terrorists groups that are based in Pakistan will rule the area. The Russians found this out when they fought the Mujahedeen. The problem in Pakistan is that all these groups tend to have one thing in common; they will fight the Pakistani regime to try and destabilize the country. They will do this because Pakistan is an ally to the U.S. This is what they all have in common; they hate the U.S. and anyone who supports them.Continue reading »

All asset classes falling

Benny' BLOGBenny’s  picks & predicts BLOG

Benny … “The Smartest Cat in the Room”
benny@AskBennyTheCat.com

HOLY TOLEDO Benny fans! . . . It was another week of all asset classes falling . . . Have you noticed that the Talking Heads on TV don’t quite know what to say? . . . Whatever they do say, they’ve been coached not to mention the “D” word and set off a panic!

Hi Benny lovers! . . . Listen up closely this week as I am going to lay some heavy stuff on you…

Email bag:  Q.  “Dear Benny, If prices keep falling, aren’t we in a depression?”   A.  Very observant, Grasshopper… The media would like you to believe that the Government is printing all this money to fund bailouts and that will lead to hyper-inflation.  In fact, the entire global banking and financial system is built on presumptive inflation . . . i.e. having everyone believe that we have inflation or it’s coming right around the corner.  Continue reading »

Israel will renew missile attacks on Gaza

World Events – March 3, 2009

How we get these Future News Predictions

Find out how these predictions will affect you

Besides the tragic world economy there are other events happening, or that will happen that bear notice. Israel will renew missile attacks on Gaza residents as Hamas refuses to stop rocket attacks on Israel. This time there will be much negative response to Israel for all the collateral damage that will incur. This is unavoidable as Hamas uses residential areas to launch missiles. The U.S. will be so distracted by the financial crisis that they won’t have much to say about the issue. Things are heating up along the U.S. Mexican border.Continue reading »
