The chiefs of all the largest Central Banks are in attendance. No other staff, no minutes of the meeting, no transcripts of anything said, and no coverage by the mainstream news. Political Corruption A Life-long Career

Crime – August 29, 2010

How we get these Future News Predictions

Find out how these predictions will affect you

Political corruption is the misuse of public office for private gain. All governments  are susceptible to political corruption. At a lower level, there is using your office to do favors or receive them, appointing cronies or relatives to jobs, and selling your influence for gain. As a politician works his or her way up the government or bureaucratic ladder, resources many times get siphoned off and redirected, procedures are disregarded, and public money is spent on private matters and pleasures. Many times, public projects are awarded to family members and cronies. Corruption escalates in some communities with politicians assisting criminals with drug trafficking, money laundering and other illegal activities or, at the very least, turning a blind eye toward it. Politicians and bureaucratic leaders can get involved with small-time criminals or organized crime on a grand scale. One of the most significant negative consequences of the economic crisis in Europe will be rising violence and crime.  An economic crisis leads to a sovereign debt crisis which, in turn, leads to a breakdown of the currency.  This series of events leads to forced austerity measures we see being protested in Greece.  What starts as civil unrest soon moves into people justifying criminal acts against those establishments and people they feel are responsible for their predicament. When people are pushed to the limit, there are no more limits.  Once law-abiding citizens and model workers turn into the newest group of hooligans and criminals.  Also, an economic crisis that destabilizes a country opens the door for organized crime to expand.  It makes it easy for them to lure new recruits – people who never before thought about committing a crime – into a life where they can survive, make a living, and feel they belong to a family.   With the situation in Europe where they share a currency but not a government, it puts unique challenges on an already strained continent where their survival is based on working together and not allowing their differences to get in the way of moving through this crisis while maintaining law and order.  What can we expect to see in the coming months with regard to crime in Europe caused by the growing tension over the economy?  Continue reading »

Religion and crime – the unholy truth

Crime – June 27, 2009

How we get these Future News Predictions

Find out how these predictions will affect you

Is there a connection between religion and crime? Many religious groups around the world use religion as a cover up for organized crime. The religious groups themselves are organized just as any other organized crime group. The Taliban and Al-Qaida are religious groups driven as they say by their religious beliefs and traditions. However, they fund their activities of fanatical Islam through drug trade, human trafficking, kidnapping, arms smuggling and money laundering. They are just like the mafia in many ways. They use crime in many facets to spread their reign of terror and suppression. Using crime to fuel their efforts they become stronger in the regions where they operate. They also could not be successful without the political connections in their countries.Continue reading »
