What’s a good way to improve your day? How about in the morning after you wake up and before you let too much of the day go by – ask yourself some questions. What is it that I’m thankful for today? Name 3 things.
What is it that I’m excited about this particular day? Who do I appreciate and love? And, who out there appreciates me and loves me? What are some things I do well and love to do? What are some things I love to do and can improve on?
So, what are you excited about? … Is it your job, your ambitions, your dreams for the future? What are they? What are your passions in life? How do they tie into your purpose for being here. Ask yourself, “How do I look at my purpose or mission here in this life?”
What are the 3 things I could do today – even the simplest of things that could make the world a better place? Something as simple as smile at everyone you meet. That could make their day a better day and maybe even change their life.
Or, would you rather stay stuck and stumble into the shower and race to get to work at a job you hate? Getting stuck in traffic and listening to nonsense on the radio? You can start your day anyway you want. It’s a choice. You can choose to be grateful and happy, or hateful and sad.

COMMENTARY: So many people have lost their way. This happened over time. The last 10 years have been the fertile ground to heal these dysfunctions. It never made people happy, but when they had enough money coming in to numb their pain with distractions, like buying stuff and going places, it didn’t seem so bad. Now, in addition to all these forced changes everyone is another 10 years older. Put those two things together at the same time and it really shines a spotlight on what doesn’t work or fit into your life anymore, not to mention the gnawing lack. That is truly a painful existence. It’s at the point of unbearable pain that people stop looking back and blaming. Then, and only then can you start the real improvement, the true healing process that Higher Intelligence described in this session.
