We see politics is a futile distraction. Do you see yourself as a Republican or a Democrat? Do you argue with other people in your family, at work, or with your friends about politics? Just giving politics any of your energy shows that you have been duped.
We would say that your vote means nothing. Both parties are incredibly corrupt, like that Hindu god with 8 arms – politicians have their arms out in all directions looking to take bribes, what they call campaign contributions, from corporations, lobbyists and special interest groups. Once a politician gets into office they make money for life.
An independent candidate doesn’t stand a chance. Look at the most successful one lately, Ron Paul. Ron Paul developed a huge following, so he had to be positioned by the media and other politicians as a crazy person who’s ideas were so ridiculous that they would harm the American citizens.
Even at a Ron Paul rally, if you had a Ron Paul bumper sticker on your car your license plate was logged and your name put on a possible domestic terrorist list. These tactics were employed to scare people away from ever endorsing an independent candidate, one who could possibly break the two party stranglehold.
The two party system blue or red, Republican or Democrat, conservative or liberal is completely designed to divide people so they can be conquered. Besides, no matter what party you identify with you need the other party to blame for things that are wrong. If you had just one party then it would become a threat to the powers that be because they want to keep you at each others throats. They want you to keep thinking that your vote actually counts for something.

COMMENTARY: Anytime you receive an email from a politician claiming to fix something by asking for your support, this immediately makes you want to believe that there is someone who is trying to fix things. However, you have been duped by politicians so many times you hit that delete key. After all you are now struggling so hard just to get everything done in the limited time you have each day. Their attempts to distract you have become very costly to you. Your decision to delete that email is your vote. Your next vote is to follow Higher Intelligence advice and thin down everything you think you must have and starve them out with your refusal to spend your money on what they are selling. Not aligning with any party frees you from wasting your time trying to push for, or argue about an already predetermined political outcome.
