The technology trap
- The i-Phone
- All of this is karma
- Karma that is never satisfied
We’re going to discuss the technology trap and it’s karmic effect that keeps you anchored to the earth plane. Are you one of the people who stood in line for 20 hours or more to buy the new Apple i-Phone? If you were one of those people you apparently felt the need to upgrade from the one you stood in line for the last time.
Thousands of people around the world stood in line for the privilege of being the first ones to own this new technology product – the i-Phone 5. Black marketers from around the world came to the U.S. to buy the i-Phone 6 weeks before they were available in their home countries, taking them back to China or Russia. They could sell them for two or three times what they cost in the U.S.. Imagine paying over $1,000, maybe $2,000 to get a piece of technology that will become available in those countries in just a couple of months?
All of this is karma. Karma is an attraction to the psychical world. This digital technology you surround yourself with is also a function of this psychical world. It creates an addiction that keeps you anchored to the psychical world and in financial debt because of it.
You should stop and consider what you need versus what you want. Do you want more than you need? If so, this creates karma that is never satisfied. You become trapped and the more you have the more you desire.
QUESTION: What should readers take away from this message today?
ANSWER: That although you believe that there’s something special about having the latest and greatest technology, you have been trapped into increasing bad karma.
QUESTION: Why is this information timely?
ANSWER: This information is timely because just last week you saw the results of Apple announcing a new i-Phone. The pandemonium was addictive and presented with Hollywood effects and hype. This type of marketing only continues a cycle of want that keeps you trapped in a downward karmic cycle.
QUESTION: How can readers best apply this information to their lives right now?
ANSWER: You must decide what you absolutely need versus what you want because, if you don’t, you will never be satisfied and will live an unfulfilled life.
COMMENTARY: Technology is great. Ray and I couldn’t provide everything we do for all of you if it wasn’t for our use of technology. However, we are not technology junkies either. My computer is three years old and Ray’s is four years old. They are both still running strong. If you are a teen, a twenty-something, or maybe even thirty-something you may feel the peer pressure of your generations. If you don’t know yourself, then you become a victim of your own insecurities. It’s easy to spot. If it’s not easy to spot then that’s because you are caught up in that karmic frenzy – the karma. We all came here to resolve some, or hopefully all of this karma that keeps us attached to the earth plane. If you want the soul-level pain to stop then overcome the desire to succumb to your desires.
