Who do you want to become more like? Be careful with your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that you are engaged in. Why?… because you will desire more of each of them. This desire causes addictions, both good and bad. For example;
the emotion of anger stimulates adrenalin in your system, which is a powerful stimulant. It makes you aggressive and want to fight with everyone; your co-workers, your family, your friends, and even total strangers.
Your brain sends out communication to your cells. It’s a brain/body communication process. As cells reproduce, which they do millions of cells per minute, the new cells are replicated with more receptors for more emotions to connect to. So, if you were angry a minute ago then all the new cells will have more receptors for anger and you feed the addiction.
The brain sends out a signal for your body to release peptides that are the result of emotions. Once these peptides are sent through your system, your behavior is the result. If your body creates loving and compassionate emotional peptides then you become that kind of person. If your body sends out anger or depression-like emotional stimuli you become more angry or depressed. Your body doesn’t know the difference – it just manufactures what you think about; it doesn’t favor good or bad.
We are very careful not to ever send you intuitive messages that are anything but loving and compassionate, and other ones that benefit you on the good side of the scale. Only love is all encompassing in your world. We feel you are bombarded enough by negative stimuli already.
