Many say all diseases are stress-related. Stress is caused by many things, lifestyle, addictions, feeling a sense of lack, not being able to work hard enough or long enough just to survive will certainly cause stress in your life. The stress can turn into diseases.
Stress caused by working all the time, not eating right or not ever exercising can lead to weight gain, diabetes, lack of muscle tone and much more. When people do work a lot and they get a break, what do they do but go outside and have a cigarette causing more stress to their body. Once the stress-related disease kicks in it becomes pain. That’s when people get in enough pain and say they will do anything to stop the pain, even become addicted to something else like painkillers.
Pain is a mysterious thing. Once it shows up, people try to address the pain symptom, but most don’t go far enough to reveal the true source. You must walk away from everything in your life that’s causing the stress and the pain, that means your job, your friends, your habits, your family and everything and everyone who creates stress in your life. You may even have to move away somewhere to get away from them and start over. You may have to also give up possessions that you have accumulated that you can’t seem to pay for and are causing you stress.
It’s only when you decide to get out of pain that the hard part comes in and that’s the first steps in taking action to do it. You will find that taking action precedes commitment and once you take action and you see the pain begin to stop you will be committed to doing whatever it takes to get out of the rest of your pain.
